The Commissioner is the chief executive officer of the Commission and, subject to the general direction of the Board. The Commissioner is responsible for—

  1. administering and operating the Commission;
  2. discharging the Commission’s functions and exercising its powers;
  3. appointing, managing and supervising the Commission’s employees; and
  4. discharging functions and exercising powers assigned to or conferred by the Financial Services Commission Act, 2014 or delegated by the Board.
